Cordial Cup | 22–24 May 2026
Join in the excitement from 22 to 24 May 2026 at one of Europe’s biggest youth football tournaments in Kitzbühel. The Cordial Cup Tirol is now one of the most prestigious youth football tournaments for boys and girls, attracting renowned clubs from all over the world every year (FC Bayern Munich, SK Rapid Vienna, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC, Borussia Dortmund and many other top teams from recent years). We are delighted to welcome young players from Florida, Australia and South Africa this year as well.
Austrian Alpine Open – DP World Tour | 25–31 May 2026
Following its successful debut in 2025 at the Gut Altentann Golf Club, which attracted over 18,000 visitors and was broadcast live on television worldwide, the Austrian Alpine Open will be held from 25 to 31 May 2026 at the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith Golf Course.
Schlagerbooom Open-Air in Kitzbühel | 5–6 June 2026

Kitzbühel Alpine Rally | 10–13 June 2026
Timeless passion. This is what the Kitzbühel Alpine Rally has stood for over three decades, and it will once again celebrate the art of motoring from 10 to 13 June 2026. This breathtaking experience spans three days and 600 kilometres, set against a stunning mountain backdrop. The Alpine Rally attracts enthusiasts of iconic classics, modern classics and exotic cars alike, offering a premium driving experience for all participants.
Kitzbühel Triathlon | 19–21 June 2026
Europe’s top athletes will once again be competing for medals in Kitzbühel. From 19 to 21 June 2026, the annual triathlon weekend will take place at Schwarzsee in Kitzbühel. The programme includes a Europe Triathlon Cup, a competition for Europe’s top athletes, as well as events for enthusiastic amateur athletes and the KitzTRIGames for Austria’s up-and-coming triathletes.

A summit for golfers and connoisseurs! During the festival, running from 21 to 28 June 2026, you’ll be treated to the culinary delights of Michelin-starred chefs, and six selected Austrian winemakers. PURA VIDA Kitzbühel | 2 July to 27 August 2026
Carrying on the old and keeping it alive in the new. From 2 July to 27 August 2026, the Kitzbühel Summer Nights will once again be off to a flying start. Every Thursday, PURA VIDA KITZBÜHEL treats visitors to creativity, culture and culinary delights in the town.
Tirolean culture is shaped by the landscape and its people, by tradition and modernity. What awaits you: culinary highlights from the region, yoga in the park, children’s workshops, musical performances, street performers and much more.
Tennis Tournament – Kitzbühel Ladies – WTA Tour 125 | 13–19 July 2026
Women’s tennis is returning to Kitzbühel: from 13 to 19 July 2026, an international WTA 125 tournament will be held at the Kitzbühel Tennis Club – for the first time in 33 years. Tennis fans can therefore look forward to two weeks of top-class tennis, as this will be followed immediately by the Generali Open Kitzbühel (18 to 25 July 2026). A return steeped in tradition to the Gamsstadt!

100th Jahrmarkt | 1 August 2026
On 1 August 2026, the Kitzbühel Town Band will be hosting the traditional fair in the town centre for the 100th time. Bands and marching bands, bars, stalls selling regional food and many other attractions make Kitzbühel a must-visit destination in August.
Year after year, this huge summer festival, always held on the first Saturday in August, attracts countless locals and visitors from all over the world to Kitzbühel. The fair is always the occasion to show off the smartest dirndls and lederhosen.

Year after year, the Kitzbühel Music Festival presents itself as a unique open-air event, featuring a spectacular live music show on Friday and a spectacular open-air concert by Andreas Gabalier on Saturday.
KITZ Culinary Festival | 28–29 August 2026
The region’s culinary virtuosos invite you to KITZ Kulinarik in Kitzbühel town centre on 28 August 2026 from 4 pm and on 29 August 2026 from 11 am to sample the local culinary map!
Culinary delights, traditional specialities and fine dining are inextricably linked with the ‘Gamsstadt’. The wide variety of culinary delights on offer in the Kitzbühel region also forms the basis for KITZ Kulinarik 2026: here, the focus is entirely on tasting and enjoying. The participating KITZ Kulinarik partners are focusing on regional products with stories that can be both told and experienced.
6th Kitzbühel Cycle Marathon | 6 September 2026
Covering 216 kilometres and 4,600 metres of elevation gain, the Kitzbühel Cycle Marathon on 6 September 2026 is a challenge for any cyclist. The climb up the Kitzbüheler Horn provides a fitting “grand finale”! New this year: a second finish line in Kitzbühel’s Vorderstadt district. The KRM Kitz is shortened to 209 kilometres and omits the Kitzbüheler Horn as the finish line.
Beach Volleyball National Championships | 10–13 September 2026
From 10 to 13 September 2026, Kitzbühel will host the Austrian Beach Volleyball Championships for the second time – making it the country’s premier beach volleyball venue. The legendary Kitzbühel Tennis Stadium will be the setting where top-class sport, entertainment and breathtaking Alpine scenery come together – under the motto “BEACH. GAMS. GROSS.”
KITZ Culinary X Piedmont | 8–11 October 2026
High-quality products, passionate restaurateurs and producers – these are the ingredients for days of culinary delight in Kitzbühel’s Stadtpark. At KITZ Kulinarik X Piedmont, Kitzbühel specialities will be paired with products from Piedmont from 8 to 11 October 2026.
This high-quality food market, taking place in mid-October from Thursday to Sunday, invites visitors to Kitzbühel’s Stadtpark for the fifth time to stroll, sample and take home some delicacies. On Saturday, local exhibitors will also be offering the best of regional produce at the weekly Kitzbühel food market in the Hinterstadt district.

The Kitzbühel Advent market transforms the historic town centre and the town park into a magical Christmas wonderland. Beautifully decorated stalls invite you to take a leisurely stroll and linger a while. Live music from local bands accompanies you through the Advent season, creating a peaceful, contemplative atmosphere.
Ring in the New Year in Kitzbühel | 30 December 2026 to 1 January 2027
Ring in the New Year in style in Kitzbühel. A carefully curated programme awaits you over the New Year period, combining a wintery atmosphere with shared experiences. From 30 December onwards, light installations will bathe the historic town centre in a special glow until 10.00 pm.
On 31 December, illuminated street performers in Vorderstadt and Hinterstadt will create magical moments. Welcome in the New Year together on 1 January: from 3 pm, the Kitzbühel Town Band will kick things off, followed by music, a DJ and impressive light displays.
24th Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel | 15–17 January 2027
Kitzbühel kicks off the new year with a sporting flurry of two polo highlights. The Kitzbühel Polo Cup, taking place from 8 to 10 January 2027, marks the start, followed by the international highlight, the Bendura Bank Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbühel, from 15 to 17 January 2027.
This renowned winter polo tournament combines dynamic equestrian sport with a stylish atmosphere. Against the backdrop of the Wilder Kaiser, you can enjoy thrilling matches on snow. The experience is complemented by select entertainment and fine dining.
87th Hahnenkamm Race, Kitzbühel | 18–24 January 2027
The Hahnenkamm Races are regarded as the most legendary ski races in the world. Since 1931, the downhill on the Streif and the slalom on the Ganslernhang have been a defining feature of the Men’s Ski World Cup. For many athletes, a victory on one of these courses is as significant as an Olympic gold medal.
In 2027, the Hahnenkamm Races will take place for the 87th time. The race week, running from 18 to 24 January, kicks off with the downhill training session – with free admission.
Vertical Up | 28 February 2026
A challenge for true sports enthusiasts: on 28 February 2026, the Streif in Kitzbühel will be the setting for the VERTICAL UP. Over 3.312 kilometres and 860 metres of elevation gain, only one thing counts – your own muscle power.
What makes it special: there are no set rules. You choose your own equipment and route – whether touring skis, spikes or snowshoes. The result is an intense race full of individuality and sporting passion, right in the heart of Kitzbühel.
