Hahnenkamm Trail
The perfect ride at any time of day: straight from town up to the Streif and back via the Hahnenkamm Flow Trail—compact, varied, and quintessentially Kitzbühel.
- Perfect for early risers or as a sundowner tour
- Compact 2-hour tour
- Fast e-bike loop
- Wide-open views
From the town center, past the Hahnenkammbahn and into the forest. Following the forest trail past the hermitage, the climb rises steadily before becoming challenging with steep switchbacks in the Ehrenbachgraben. It’s a climb that takes some effort—until you reach the top of the Streif.
Alternatively, the highlights of the Hahnenkamm can also be reached by e-bike or via the Hahnenkammbahn. Lift tickets can be purchased at KitzSki.
Once you reach the starting point or the lookout, it becomes clear where you are: views of the Mausefalle, the Wilder Kaiser, the Kitzbüheler Horn, and the Loferer Steinberge. A place steeped in history—and surprisingly quiet in the summer.
The ride back down to the valley takes you along the Hahnenkamm Flow Trail. Over 8 km of banked turns, undulations, and smooth sections through the forest. Fast, fun, and the perfect finale—right back to Kitzbühel.
For those who prefer to return to the valley without taking the Hahnenkamm Singletrail, there is the option of descending via the “Fleckalm 2008” forest road.
