Kitzbühel Tourism handles your data responsibly
The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies to enable an analysis of how users use the website.
The data generated by the cookie regarding the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there for a period of 26 months. An adequacy decision by the European Commission is in place for the transfer of personal data to the USA. Google will use the data transmitted on behalf of the operator to evaluate the user’s use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Google may also transfer this data to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf.
If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will truncate the IP address within the European Union or the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymisation is enabled by default on this website.

Profiling for even more personalised offers and information
We use automated data processing methods to analyse user behaviour in order to improve our products. (= profiling). However, we do not in any way carry out systematic and comprehensive evaluations of personal aspects of natural persons based on automated processing, including such profiling, which in turn serves as a basis for decisions that have legal effects on natural persons or similarly significantly affect them.
Social media plugins for further information
The operator uses so-called ‘embedded’ social media plugins (interfaces to social networks) on the website. When you visit the website, the system automatically establishes a connection with the relevant social network due to the integration of the plugins and transmits data (IP address, website visit, etc.).
The data transfer takes place without the operator’s intervention and outside their responsibility. The user can prevent this data transfer by logging out of the respective social networks before visiting the website. Only when logged in can the social network assign specific data to the user’s activity profile via automatic data transfer.
The automatically transmitted data is used exclusively by the operators of the social networks and not by the operator of this website. Further information on this can be found directly on the website of the relevant social network. Privacy settings can also be adjusted there.
The social networks integrated into the website are:

This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. Please note that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Facebook. The user of the chatbot expressly acknowledges that this is a new technology, in which the correct linking of data cannot be expected or guaranteed in every case. The user therefore has no entitlement to a specific linking of data or the generation of specific responses.
The disclosure of personal data to third parties is excluded. You can find detailed information on our privacy policy on our website.

For what purpose is data stored?
Storage of the chat history
The chat history is stored for the purpose of forwarding it to the relevant department and/or for the continuous improvement of service quality beyond the duration of the conversation. The chatbot solution uses software that employs an algorithm based on “artificial intelligence” and continuously improves itself. To achieve this and to train the chatbot, chat messages from chatbot users are stored and processed.
What data is stored and for how long? Can this be customised?
Conversations are assigned a randomly generated pseudonym that cannot be linked to chatbot users, thereby ensuring the user’s anonymity.
The messages from chatbot conversations are stored.
The stored data includes the text and/or attachments, the creation date of the messages, and which intents/responses they triggered.
The duration and time of the communication are stored anonymously for statistical purposes – in particular to optimise the service.
How is my data secured?
Onlim GmbH has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect LiveChat/chatbot data, safeguarding it against loss, manipulation or unauthorised access, amongst other things. The measures taken are subject to regular review and are continuously adapted to the current state of the art.

What options are available for data deletion?
Conversation entries are automatically anonymised 30 days after the last message.
