209 | Brechhornhaus-Choralpe
The start of this black route is at the Alpenrosenbahn valley station in Westendorf. The route initially runs along the asphalt road towards Oberwindau and on to Gasthof Schrandl. This is where the forest road begins, which winds its way up the mountain, alternating between light woodland and green alpine meadows. At the Fleidingalm, the route splits: on the right, the route continues to the Brechhornhaus with connection to Kirchberg (sharp MTB route 261 Brechhorn). The left, somewhat longer branch leads on to the Choralpe with connection to Brixen i.Th. (sharp MTB route 211 Kandleralm - Brechhorn). From Kirchberg as well as from Brixen i.Th. it is possible to return to the starting point on the Brixental cycle trail (R 21).
