2008 | Fleckalm
This route starts at the Fleckalmbahn in the Klausen district near Kirchberg in Tirol. The route starts of on tarmac roads but then changes to gravel, winding its way up to the Gasthaus Fleckalm restaurant. From here the forest thins out and the tour continues uphill through the meadows to the Ehrenbachhöhe. Once at the top, bikers can relax by the snow cannon lake, or visit one of the several restaurants nearby. To get back to the starting point, you can take the same route back down, or experience riders might be interested in the descent on the black Fleckalmtrail (MTB 293). There are also alternative routes down the mountain that lead to Kitzbühel: black route Hahnenkamm (MTB 232) or bike trail Hahnenkamm (MTB 2004).
