Floodlit cross country trails
The Golfclub Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith with its snowy and floodlit trails is the specialty of the cross-country flagship Kitzbühel. Sporting or hobby cross-coutry skiers come from near and far to hone their fitness and technique there. Even the professional local skier David Kreiner (Austria National Team in Nordic Combined) uses the high-class facilities.At the golf club, next to the 7.0-km loop, are also some shorter, but varied versions. From dusk until 21.30hr, 3.3 km of trails are lit up and can be used for evening training. This 3.3-km-variant, with artificial snow, is run in collaboration with the Kitzbühel Ski Club (KSC) and is therefore extremely snow-secure.
