Description
Starting at the Hahnenkamm car park the route starts off on the tarmac road up to the Schattberg. The road turns to gravel and continues up the Hahnenkamm passing the Astenalm and Melkalm up to the top station of the Hahnenkammbahn gondola. From there the route takes you along the ridge past the Ehrenbachhöhe, up the side of the Steinbergkogel and further past the Brunnsee to Pengelstein. There are many restaurants to stop at along the way. To get back to the start take the same route back, or switch to another mountain bike route like the 218 Saukaser – Pengelstein.
