Description
At the Stiegl Brauwelt, beer is a multi-sensory experience. By this we mean that it's not only a matter of seeing and hearing, but also touching, smelling and of course tasting. The path to this beer museum is of course via some steps ("Stiegl"), a feature from which the brewery originally derived its name. In 1492, a set of eponymous steps led down to the waters of the Almkanal (canal) in Salzburg - and since 1992, steps have also led to a very special beer exhibition within the walls of the old malthouse.
