  (2.127 m). Sie ist beliebtes Ziel und Zwischenstopp für Wanderer und Mounta
 inbiker. Von der Hütte sind interessante Bergtouren auf den Bischof, Gebra (
 2.057 m), die Sonnspitze (2.062 m) oder eine Kombination aus diesen möglich.
  Die Hochwildalmhütte eignet sich auch besonders gut als Zwischenstopp auf M
 ehrtagestouren, beispielsweise auf dem "Kitzbüheler Spaziergang".<br><br>Auß
 erdem kann die Hütte als Basis für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt genutzt werd
 en. Aktivitäten wie Gipfelbesteigungen, Beeren oder Kräuter sammeln sind nur
  einige der Möglichkeiten, die die ganze Familie begeistern können.<br><br>D
 ie schöne Stube im Inneren der Hütte bietet rund 30 Personen Platz. Viel sch
 öner ist es aber eh auf der herrlichen Terrasse, auf die von Früh bis Abend
 die Sonne lacht. Der gschmackige Käse kommt vom benachbarten Senner auf der
 Alm, das Bier aus der kleinen Brauerei Huber in St. Johann.<br><br>Alle Spei
 sen werden frisch zubereitet, die Zutaten stammen hauptsächlich aus regional
 er Landwirtschaft. Brot und Kuchen werden selbst im holzbeheizten Backofen i
 n der Hütte gebacken. Wir bieten eine abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte, die au
 ch vegane Alternativen beinhaltet. Bei tierischen Produkten achten wir beson
 ders auf Herkunft und Bio-Qualität.<br><br>Übernachtungsgäste sind herzlich
 Willkommen. Ihnen steht ein rustikales Schlaflager mit 5 Stockbetten (10 Sch
 lafplätze), eigenem WC und Waschraum mit Kaltwasser zur Verfügung. Um Reserv

 ated right beneath the famous Bischof (2127m a.s.l.) and a popular destinati
 on for hikers and mountain bikers alike. Starting from the hut, you can go o
 n exciting hikes to the surrounding peaks including the Bischof, Gebra (2057
 m a.s.l.) and the Sonnspitze (2062m a.s.l.) just to name a few. The Hochwild
 alm can also be used as an overnight stay for multi-day hikes, such as the “
 Kitzbüheler Spaziergang”.<br><br>The hut also serves as a base for multi-day
  stays in a pristine mountain region. Activities such as hikes, picking berr
 ies, flowers and herbs or going for a swim in the near-by lake are just some
  of the possibilities to keep the whole family entertained. <br><br>The wood
  fired rustic sitting room inside sits approximately 30 people. But on sunny
  days you’d much prefer the lovely terrace anyways, which gets warmed by the
  sun from dawn till dusk. Here you can enjoy cheese from the neighbouring al
 pine dairy and locally brewed beer.<br><br>The menu at the Hochwildalm will
 include fresh food, all homemade with ingredients mostly from local farmers.
  Bread and cakes come straight out of the wood fired oven. Dishes are divers
 e and include Tyrolean favorites, such as Kaspressknödel, as well as other v
 egetarian and vegan alternatives. Animal products are exclusively sourced fr
 om organic farmers. <br><br>Overnight guests are very welcomed at the Hochwi
 ldalm. There is an authentic 10 bed shared room with washing amenities (cold
  water only) and WC. For a small fee luggage transport to the hut can be org

Starting from the hut, you can go on exciting hikes to the surrounding peaks including the Bischof, Gebra (2057m a.s.l.) and the Sonnspitze (2062m a.s.l.) just to name a few. The Hochwildalm can also be used as an overnight stay for multi-day hikes, such as the “Kitzbüheler Spaziergang”.

The hut also serves as a base for multi-day stays in a pristine mountain region. Activities such as hikes, picking berries, flowers and herbs or going for a swim in the near-by lake are just some of the possibilities to keep the whole family entertained.

The wood fired rustic sitting room inside sits approximately 30 people. But on sunny days you’d much prefer the lovely terrace anyways, which gets warmed by the sun from dawn till dusk. Here you can enjoy cheese from the neighbouring alpine dairy and locally brewed beer.

The menu at the Hochwildalm will include fresh food, all homemade with ingredients mostly from local farmers. Bread and cakes come straight out of the wood fired oven. Dishes are diverse and include Tyrolean favorites, such as Kaspressknödel, as well as other vegetarian and vegan alternatives. Animal products are exclusively sourced from organic farmers.

Overnight guests are very welcomed at the Hochwildalm. There is an authentic 10 bed shared room with washing amenities (cold water only) and WC. For a small fee luggage transport to the hut can be organised given prior notice.
