Description
Schloss Mittersill and the adjacent castle gardens lie elevated on a mountain spur overlooking the Salzach Valley. The castle used to be owned by the powerful archbishops of Salzburg and has now opened its gates for guests from all over the world. Although the castle’s roots reach back 900 years, it was recently carefully restored and transformed into a charming, romantic, four-star superior castle hotel in Mittersill, true to its slogan.
