Labalm Tour, Tour Nr. 5
From Kitzbühel town centre head west along Schwarzseestraße. After passing the Schwarzsee, cross over the Reither Landesstraße onto a narrow side road and pass the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith golf club. The bike path to Kirchberg is partly unpaved, but easily passable. In Kirchberg (centre) head south towards Aschau, into the imposing Spertental. The village centre of Aschau is reached by following the Aschauer Straße, ride on into the valley along the Spertengrundweg in the “Unteren Grund”. Here turn right and take the final steep ascent to the Labalm (1,264 m). The return journey follows the same route back.
