The starting point of this tour is the car park of the gondola lift in Waidring. From the starting point, drive through the centre of the village on the main road in the direction of the campsite. In the left-hand bend before the campsite, continue straight on in the direction of Strub. Approx. 300 m after the "Ascherbauer" turn onto the Panoramaweg (Schmid-Zabirow-Hütte). Now the difficult part of the route begins. The forest path winds steeply uphill in long curves through the forest to the Kitzgraben hut. Now the trail goes steeply downhill towards Steinberggraben - Teufelsklamm. At the car park near GH "Adolari" (refreshment stop), the route turns right onto the "Steinbergrunde" cycle path back to Waidring.
First variable with showers, becoming drier and brighter in the afternoon.
